Any type of structure needs an evaluation of building structural performance over time. As well as the human body may encounter health problems over the course of time, buildings can also deteriorate on a long term, as consequence of multiple external factors: from natural phenomena to unauthorized interventions and to vibrations coming from construction sites and other nearby construction works.
The structural health assessment means a technical evaluation of buildings, in order to make sure that they respect a necessary safety metric (for assets and for people) and that they also adhere to the active legal requirements.
SYSCOM MR3000SB Structures & Buildings Monitoring System provides a complete strong-motion and vibration monitoring network inside a building. Typical installations include a daisy chain network of three or more stations at the foundation, middle and top floor of the building, in compliance with most of the international standards.
Due to this system and to our internal processes, we assess each building, considering its own unique parametres and characteristics, and compare the technical and theoretical informations to the on-field reality.
